I’ve been questioned a lot of times “Are there paleo restaurants anywhere?”
With the trend of eating out and the spread of the Paleo movement, functioning a Paleo restaurant near few CrossFit gyms is quite possible.
People, who are gluten-free, diabetic, lactose intolerant, etc., also find Paleo food delicious and appealing.
So, I’ve compiled a list of food trucks and restaurants that claim to be Paleo. Food trucks offering Paleo are cropping up all over the US and they cater to the Cross Fitters. Restaurants such as Calistro California Bistro in Scottsdale, Arizona does actually advertise a Paleo menu.
Increasingly, gluten-free foods are found all over the US and grass-fed meats are now on the platter of many restaurants.

What Are You Gonna Have At The Paleo Restaurants?
If you ask a lot of questions, eating out at restaurants is no big deal. Here are some tips to make some good choices at any restaurant.
American Paleo Restaurants
Eggs: Scrambled, hard-boiled, poached, omelets or fried eggs are a good choice because they are protein-packed. Ask the chef if the dish includes soy, dairy or wheat. Many times, kitchens can make you a custom egg dish without the added ingredients. Otherwise, poached eggs are good as it contains only egg and water.
Bunless Burger: Burgers, without the bun, with only a plate of salad and side of vegetables, works as a great Paleo meal at restaurants. Some restaurants have caught on to this and now serve the dish wrapped with lettuce leaves instead of buns.
Barbecue: Smoked chicken, beef or pork are good choices. Barbecue contains a little dash of sugar but that’s okay and not too much of a concern. However, the barbecue sauce is worth taking into concern as it contains a lot of sugar. You can order dry meat at restaurants if really concerned. Take tossed salad and braised greens as a side dish.
Vegetables and Proteins: Salads and steaks are a pretty good choice. Roasted or grilled chicken, turkey, salmon or seafood are also great options. Ask questions about how they’ve prepared it.
Salads: Salads can be a reliable choice – lots of fresh vegetables topped with protein and quality fat. Just check that the ingredients in your dish comply to your Paleo diet eating standards.
Conclusion
The fun of eating out lies in the fact that you’re enjoying the food when you’re eating out – someone cooking and serving you. If you cook 80 to 90% of the time, it feels great to eat out occasionally, provided you know what you’re eating and don’t hurt yourself.
The Paleo habits encourage you to make intentional food choices that help you keep healthy emotionally and physically.
